I jumped at the chance to work with Matt & Wedding Videography when they were looking for a photographer to collaborate with for a special project. Their videos are so beautiful and truly capture the emotion of the moment. What better way to preserve a family's story than to combine both photos and video. Charlotte and her parents were such a joy to photograph. Lots of emotion and laughter as they enjoyed time as a family finger painting, reading stories, playing at the park and talking Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol. Lincoln: A Wild One
A week or so ago I met Lincoln who was celebrating his very first birthday. Such a charmer with his big brown eyes and that infectious smile. He feels things intensely but switches back to 'happy' with ease. You can feel how connected this family is and he is right at the centre of it. This session included a big red wagon, cupcakes with lots of icing, the cutest Wild One theme and his grandparents loving every minute of it. There is something so special about that bond between grandparents and grandchildren. That feeling was palpable in the room and in the way they look at him.
Lincoln's Mom wrote a beautiful blog post about Lincoln turning one. Well worth a read and I'm sure resonates with lots of parents.
